The Barbare vineyard was born in 2000 on the shores of the Marmara Sea in the region of Thrace. Organic and biodynamic since its origins, the 25-hectare estate flourishes in a climate that is conductive to vine growing.

The name Barbaros pays tribute to the neighboring village of Barbaros. Xavier Vignon has been involved with the estate since its inception, working closely with its founder Can Topsakal. As a friend and consulting enologist,
