In cuvée Jacquesson which changes every year, the brothers Chiquet assemble wines of the same Grape harvest, from dozens of parcels, completed with some of their predecessors: the “vins de réserve”, stored in the basement for several years. In this process it becomes essential to capture the best of each vintage, trying not to deny the variations of each crop. They number their “cuvées” to date them in order to highlight the different personalities. The year 2011 began with a wet and icy winter, followed by a hot, dry spring, despite some frost. The start of the summer was dull and ended up with a much more enjoyable season. The wines are balanced, smooth and homogenous. The Cuvée n ° 739 is composed of 57% Chardonnay, 21% Pinot noir and 22% of meunier. The reserve wines amounted to 31%.
