Domaine Bruno Colin Rully Premier Cru Cote Chalonnaise, France 2018

South of Chagny on the Côte Chalonnaise, Rully is a great source of excellent Crémant de Bourgogne and is increasingly known for its good value Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. From Premier Cru vineyards on clay-limestone soils, Bruno Colin produces this minerally white Burgundy that has characteristic stone fruit and citrus aromas and flavours with a silky texture.

Grapes are manually sorted in the vineyard before after hand picking then gently pressed using pneumatic presses before settling and fermentation on the fine lees in oak barrels (20 to 25 percent new). Aged in barrel for 10 months.

Aromas of quince, lemon and crushed stone are followed by an expansive palate of apricots, tangerine and peach.
