Gonet - Médeville Blanc de Noirs 1er Cru Brut is an extraordinary Pinot Noir made by the couple Xavier Gonet and Julie Médeville . Xavier comes from a family with roots in Champagne , and Julie Médeville from a long lineage in Bordeaux , including the legendary Château Gilette in Sauternes . In 2000 they decided to start a new Champagne project . On a property of 12 hectares , they produce vibrant wines aged in barrels , which are neither chaptalized nor fermented malolactically.
