FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED VINEYARD & WINERY

Founded and worked by the Tutton-Hill family since inception, in the pioneering days of this amazingly diverse little wine region. Vine planting started in 1989 and thereare now some 18 hectares of producing vines.

WINEMAKING

Willie grew up in Central Hawkes Bay. After a few years action in high level competitive sports, he completed his bachelor in Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University. Since graduation has worked solidly gaining experience both domestically and internationally in Oregon, Barossa, Hunter Valley, several harvests in Burgundy at Domaine de Montille and Domaine Dujac, and in the Mosel at Weingut Clemens Busch.
