Domaine Follin-Arbelet represents the type of small, family-run operation that continues to make wine comme autrefois—the way it used to be done. In Burgundy, this means farming several minuscule plots with the goal of revealing the distinctive characteristics of each, to highlight that vineyard’s terroir. Vinifications are in the old-school style, fermenting slowly in open-top wooden vats, using only indigenous yeasts, and the wines are bottled in all of their unadulterated glory, unfined and unfiltered.
