Third Growth. Troisieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855. There are three Bordeaux Chateaux called Lagrange - one in Saint-Julien, one in Graves and the other in Pomerol.

Critic tasting note: "The nose is fine and offers a certain delicacy . It reveals slight notes of blackberry , plum and strawberry associated with a discreet hint of spices , Sichuan pepper as well as slight notes of spices and a hint of flint. The palate is fruity , mineral , well-balanced and offers a slight gourmandise, juiciness as well as a nice freshness . In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy plum , juicy cassis and small notes of fresh raspberry associated with a hint of cherry as well as discreet woody hints , dark chocolate and a slight hint of caramelization . There are medium- sized and slightly firm tannins. Good (and gourmand) persistence ." - 91 - 92/100, VertdeVin
