Chateau de la Tour Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 1999

Mid-ruby, quite evolved nose. Prunes, brûlée, broad and very very fruity. Extremely easy to like but verging on facile. There’s a slight lack of concentration but the wine is certainly charming, and quite long – Jancis Robinson
