The NV Brut Le Caractère M is 95% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir based on 2013, with a perpetual reserve dating back to 2002 that represents 75% of the wine. It is the richest and creamiest of the Margaine Champagnes. Dried flowers, coffee, hazelnut, spice, dried orchard fruit and tangerine oil all show the natural richness the older vintages bring to this compelling blend. Dosage is 4-5 grams per liter. Disgorged: September, 2018.

A sleek blanc de blancs Champagne, with firming flavors of ripe melon, toast and roasted almond along with crunchy acidity. A fine aperitif style, lively and well-knit, with a creamy mousse. Disgorged September 2018. Drink now through 2023. 166 cases made.
